Morning smoothie: Banana, peach, spinach, ground flax and almond milk.
These taste nothing like hummus, but they are nice and salty and super tasty.

Midnight snack: a piping hot bowl of kale and collard greens sauteed with onion, garlic and cayenne.
Dinner: A big mound of roasted veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, bell pepper, tomatoes, onion), whole wheat pita, and rosemary-lemon white bean dip (this recipe, which I make all the damn time and it’s so good that I could just eat it up with a spoon. I use half the oil and add lemon juice.)
A fairly boring breakfast today: fruit, spirulina tablets and green tea.
Still not feeling great. I’ve had a sore throat since yesterday and feel like I’m coming down with something.
If the kale isn’t helping me, what will?! I’m doomed!
A mountain of veggies for dinner! Romaine, broccoli slaw, scallions, celery, cucumber, carrot, edamame, jicama, radish, avocado, snap peas, parsley and cilantro dressed with lime juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
Raw sweet potato and greens slaw: so, so good!
I made this for a BBQ this weekend. It was super fantastic.

Dinner tonight: I’m a wee bit obsessed with roasted veggies at the moment. I roasted up a big pan of zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, orange peppers and onions last night and have already finished it. I had the last of them with some pan-fried polenta topped with tomato sauce.
Yet another giant kale salad for lunch. The usual.
